Beverley L. Johnson, 84

Beverley L. Johnson was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Minong, Wis., and passed away June 16, 2013, in Kalispell.

She was the oldest of six children born to John “Roy” and Margaret Visger. She was raised in the Minong area, and on June 27, 1947, married John “Wes” Johnson. They had a son, Wesley “Rick,” and a daughter, Jackie.

They moved to Libby in 1967i; and to Kalispell in 1992 to be near their daughter.

Wes and Bev were married 63 years before his death in 2010. She was also preceded in death by their son Rick, in 2011.

She is survived by her daughter, Jackie, and Jeff Van Helden, of Kalispell; daughter-in-law, Gina Johnson, of Ronan; six grandchildren, two of whom live in Kalispell, Ben and Krista Van Helden, and Kara and Sean Roberts; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Mick Visger, and Edna, of Minneapolis; one sister, Pat Elliott, of Libby; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were held June 19 in Kalispell, with burial at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
