Michael 'Mike' Siderius, 50

Michael “Mike” Siderius, 50, passed away on June 7, 2013, in Kalispell from cancer.  

Mike was born March 20, 1963, in Montgomery, Ala., the son of Jerry and Barbara (Marsh) Siderius. His father was in the military, so he moved around until they settled in Kalispell when Mike was in the ninth grade. He graduated from Flathead High School in 1981, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Montana State University in 1986.  

Mike worked for the Boeing Company for six years, then moved back to Kalispell, and bought and ran his own business for 20 years.   

In 1992 Mike married Joan Badley in Seattle. They had 20 happy years together. Mike was a member of Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Joan; children, Joe, Reid and Shea; parents, Jerry and Barbara Siderius; sister, Robin and John Bedford of Billings; brother, Chuck Siderius of Denver; brother, Paul and Sarah Siderius of Billings; and nieces and nephews, Mitch, Alex and Jack Bedford, and Katie, Emma and Abby Siderius. 

A celebration of Mike's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 at Trinity Lutheran Church.
