Willard B. Morton, 84

Willard B. Morton, 84, died on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at his home in Kalispell of cancer.

Willard was born on July 20, 1928, to Reuben and Elizabeth Morton in Verndale, Minn. 

He married Delores Loween in Verndale on Sept. 13, 1948.

He owned and operated Morton Lumber near Kalispell. He liked hunting, tinkering on old machinery, spending time with his family and eating patty melts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sis Hagerman; and great-granddaughter, Jessica Masa.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Delores, and his children, Jeff and Renae Morton, Kathy and Larry Masa, and Bobby and Terry Krogstad, all of Kalispell; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way; his sisters, June Doran and Mary Ellen Anderson; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

A visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, and a memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 1 at Buffalo Hills Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
