The manager of a Montana 209 property in Bigfork was advised by a Flathead County Sheriff’s deputy that the unwatered horses the manager keeps are, in fact, getting water — and always have been. The deputy advised the property manager that there isn’t a horse problem; there’s a problem with his two tenants not being able to coexist. The property manager said the horse owners were moving within a month.
A snowmobiler reported being threatened by a man who grooms the trails in the area. The groomer reportedly said that if he saw the snowmobiler and the snowmobiler’s friends, he wouldn’t be able to stop; he’d hit them and “break their jaws.”

A young teenage boy led the Columbia Falls Police Department on a chase after he jumped out of his guardian’s vehicle on 13th Street West and ran into a housing development. He was eventually determined to be safe and on his way to the home of his sister’s foster parents.
