Man in alley could be a stalker

A woman on Fifth Street West reported a “weird guy” in the alley laughing and staring at her Saturday night. She told Kalispell Police she has seen the man multiple times and thinks he is stalking her. Police could not locate the man, whom the woman described as older, at least 6 feet tall and wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.

Earlier, people setting off fireworks on Fifth Avenue West agreed to stop after someone complained to police.

A man was caught shoplifting at a store on Hutton Ranch Road.

Dogs in a house on Fifth Avenue West North set off the house’s burglary alarm.

Officers arrested a man for drunk driving after the man was in a hit-and-run accident with minor damage on Third Avenue East North.

An Indian Trail Road man told officers someone tried to get into his house three days ago. The person did not get in but damaged the curtains, the man said.

Saturday evening, an Eighth Avenue West caller told Columbia Falls Police about three toddlers — one of them on a bike and one in diapers — playing without adult supervision in a park where there are lots of foxes.

Saturday afternoon, a caller told Whitefish Police that someone kicked and dented his Pontiac Grand Prix.

Multiple callers reported four or five people fighting in front of a Central Avenue bar early Sunday morning.

An Iowa Avenue woman reported a drunk man standing in front of her house by her vehicle yelling for her to come outside because he thinks she damaged his vehicle in a hit and run.
