Men checking out hotel scene

Early Sunday morning, the manager of a hotel on East Idaho Street told Kalispell Police that a guest complained about men peeking into hotel windows. Officers were unable to locate the men.

A man was arrested for driving under the influence. People had reported him driving in a ditch and then on a bike path.

Youths in Lawrence Park were cited for minors in possession of alcohol.

Two men were confronted by police behind a business on U.S. 93. One was advised of a Missoula warrant and both were counseled on the proper place to use a restroom.

An East California Street resident complained about people banging on a house window for a second night and requested extra patrols.

Later that morning, an employee at a business on Hutton Ranch Road reported a suspicious woman sitting in her running car and shaking. While inside the store the woman was taking her shoes off, the caller said. Officers advised the woman can be animated at times and would be returning home.

Someone smashed a car windshield on Sixth Avenue West.

Saturday night, a man told police that someone egged his car when he drove under the railroad bridge on East Idaho Street.

Officers arrested a man and took him to the hospital for a blood draw after he reportedly hit a power pole on North Meridian Road.

Earlier that evening, a caller reported leaving a wallet in a restroom on Third Avenue East North and returning to find cash missing from it.

Medication was reportedly stolen on South Main Street.

The driver of a gold Toyota truck left a gas station on First Avenue West North without paying for $50 of fuel.

A two-vehicle wreck involving a semi-truck and SUV slowed traffic to a halt on Sunday afternoon near Swan Lake on Montana 83.

The accident left the semi-truck jackknifed and blocking both lanes. It took almost three hours to fully reopen the highway. The wreck did not involve any serious injuries, according to the Montana Department of Transportation.

A single-vehicle rollover was reported on the 2200 block of West Reserve Drive on Sunday afternoon. According to dispatch radio traffic, a man was thrown from the vehicle into a field. He was transported to the hospital, but no additional details were available.

Saturday, a man harassing his ex-girlfriend with text messages told Whitefish Police that he will stop.

Officers arrested a man for driving with a revoked license.

A young girl reportedly was having problems with other young girls calling and claiming to be officers with the police department.

Early Sunday morning, a man on Central Avenue told police that a taxi driver punched him in the face and he wanted to file a report.
