Anna 'Ann' Rosalie Benda, 92

Anna “Ann” Rosalie Benda, 92, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at her Whitefish residence.

Ann was born Dec. 21, 1920, in Iona Township, Todd County, Minn., where she was also raised.

Ann had been a homemaker. Community activities included the RSVP, and knitting hats and gloves for children and adults, and stocking caps for newborns. Ann enjoyed gardening, knitting and baking.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; an infant child; two brothers; and two nephews.

Ann is survived by her niece, Sherri Cooke, of Loma.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Northwest Montana in Kalispell, Meals on Wheels in Whitefish, or to the St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Mont.

There will be no services.
