Actors wanted for movie in Whitefish

| March 27, 2013 6:30 PM

Union and non-union actors are needed for a feature film that begins shooting April 22.

“The Thin Line” is set in and will be filmed on location in Whitefish. The movie tells the story of Jessica McDees, a woman with a history of disastrous relationships who leaves her overbearing father to work in a mountain resort coffee shop. Jessica is oblivious to the adoration of hunky admirer Taylor and is smitten with Robert, a misanthrope who particularly deplores women.

Several roles are being cast, including Jessica’s roommate and fellow barista Courtney, Jessica’s pregnant teenage sister, and coffee shop owner “Junior.” Positions as extras are also open.

Principal photography is slated to wrap up May 10.

A limited number of Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists contracts are available. All types, races and ethnicities over 18 are encouraged to submit.
