Mark W. Fields, 59

| March 28, 2013 10:00 PM

Mark W. Fields, 59, passed away peacefully March 27, 2013, at his home.

Mark was raised in the Rattlesnake Valley of Missoula and graduated from Hellgate High School in 1972.

In 1976 he married Susie Cochran and out of this union came his pride and joy daughter, Libby Fields. Many miles of showing horses together with her dad resulted in some of the best memories of their lives.

In 2000, Mark met his soul mate-love of his life, Kimberly Launer.

He leaves behind Libby, Kim, and her two children, Chancie Keenan and Bob, Jesse Gall, and granddaughter, Piper Keenan, of Steamboat Springs Colo.; and his best buddy, Scruggs.

Mark had 46 years of laughter, love, fun and passionate sailing at the family cabin on Wildhorse Island with his many friends and family.

This summer the family will host a celebration of life at his Wildhorse Paradise.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Charlotte Fields; and sister, Karen Green.

Donations will graciously be accepted at the Humane Society of Northwest Montana in Mark’s name.

“Your positive, patient, kindhearted, generous soul will be sorely missed by all. Full sails, buddy.”

Arrangements are entrusted to Columbia Mortuary.
