Ryan 'Ry Guy' Howard Keith, 29

Ryan “Ry Guy” Keith, 29, passed away on April 23, 2013, at Kalispell Regional Hospital.

He was born in Whitefish on June 9, 1983.

Ryan was an active young man. He loved playing baseball and watching the Red Sox. He also loved hunting, fishing, shooting his guns, snowboarding, riding his motorcycle and playing cards. He was a very hard worker and was good at his job as lead hand on Cyclone 31 for Sudbrink Geological Consultants in North Dakota. He was a “big teddy bear” who loved his family and friends and brought joy to the lives of many. Ryan will be remembered for his love for life and intense ability to make people laugh and have fun. Ryan will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Rider; his father, David Keith; girlfriend and partner, BJ Reopelle; grandparents, John and Betty Schurr; Aunts Patti and Chuckie; Uncle Bob; aunts back east; and several cousins, many who called him “Uncle Ryan.”

A celebration of Ryan's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 13 in the community room at Lone Pine State Park in Kalispell. The family invites all who knew him. It will be a potluck and a sharing in memories of Ryan.
