Golf: Weimer, Gettings tie for seventh at Seeley-Swan

SEELEY LAKE — Bigfork’s Blake Weimer and Lars Gettings finished tied for seventh at the Seeley-Swan Blackhawk golf invitational on Tuesday at Double Arrow Golf Course.

Each golfer made a charge on the back nine to work their way back on the leaderboard. Gettings shot a 38 and Weimer shot a 40 to recover from rounds in the mid-40s on the way out. Their work helped Bigfork to a fourth place team finish.

The Eureka boys and Bigfork girls didn’t record a team score. 

Bigfork is back on the course Thursday for the St. Regis Invitational.
