Glacier dominates track dual with Columbia Falls

The Glacier boys and girls squared off with Columbia Falls in a track dual on Thursday, coming away with win in all but two events at Glacier High School.

Kyle Griffith won both the long and triple jumps for the boys and teammates Todd Ogden (javelin) and Adam Cebulla (300 hurdles) each posted qualifying marks in their events as the Wolfpack nearly swept the meet.

Josiah Osborne was the only male winner for Columbia Falls, cruising past Cebulla in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.68 seconds.

It was a similar story on the girls side. Angela Tamburelli won the 100 for the Wildkats’ only win of the afternoon.

Corinne Hamilton won each of the distance races for Glacier and Katie Wiley won both the high jump and triple jump, posting qualifying marks in each. Leah Cook leapt 16 feet, 7 inches in the long jump to win with a qualifying mark, as did Shauna Williams in the discus and Keyawna Larson in the javelin.
