'Really Good Band' at Crush Lounge

| May 15, 2013 7:00 PM

Lisa Mann and Her Really Good Band will be in Whitefish May 25 as part of their ’Til the Wheels Come Off tour.

The blues band performs at 10 p.m. at Crush Lounge.

Portland-based Mann and her band have been mainstays of the Northwest music scene for several years. Mann was inducted into the Cascade Blues Association’s Hall of Fame after winning the Muddy Waters Award for Bass Player of the Year three times in a row. In November 2012, she took home the Muddy for bass yet again, and to top that off, she took home Female Vocalist of the Year. Her Really Good Band won Contemporary Blues Act of the Year that year.

Mann’s influences run the gamut, from Etta James to  Bonnie Raitt to Little Milton. She has shared the stage with many Northwest greats, such as the late Paul Delay, Lloyd Jones, Kevin Selfe, Duffy Bishop, Karen Lovely, Ellen Whyte, the Insomniacs and Sonny “Smokin’” Hess.
