Sun Road reconstruction

A park visitor captured this image of an avalanche crossing Glacier National Park's Going-to-the-Sun Road at Big Bend, just a sample of the punishment the road gets every year. Officials with the park and the Federal Highway Administration recently gave a presentation on the comprehensive rehabilitation project that's been underway.
