| May 22, 2013 5:00 PM

“To Whom Gray Matters: An Exhibition of Photographs,” featuring the work of Katherine Dagnall, Linda Ferris, Thomas Fleming and Phylicia McDonald, will be featured at Hangin’ Art Gallery in Arlee.

The show opens with an artists reception from 5 to 7 p.m. May 30. It will be on display through June 20.

Four photographers in the advanced black and white photography class at Salish Kootenai College have generated some 40 photographs for this show during the spring term. This is the fourth time that students of instructor and photographer David J. Spear picked a project, made pictures, edited and printed their work for this exhibition.  For more information on the exhibition, call Spear at Salish Kootenai College, (406) 275-4848.

These photographers were invited to show their work at Hangin’ Art Gallery by Killdeer Artisans Guild. The guild formed in 2010 as a cooperative of artists centered on the Flathead Reservation. In addition to showing the diverse artworks of member artists, the guild welcomes collaborative opportunities with community groups and organizations, hosting special events, performances and shows.

Located in Arlee on U.S. 93 North, Hangin’ Art Gallery provides a warm and welcoming place to gather, enjoy art exhibits and events, as well as locally roasted coffees and treats. The gallery serves as home to Killdeer Artisans Guild.
