<p><strong>Glacier High School junior Carmen Miele</strong> was first in a statewide trigonometry contest and also earned a perfect math score on the ACT exam. </p>

<p class="p1">Ruth Lane and Paula Rindal will be teaching two sessions of The Magic of Felting course June 1 and June 7. The classes run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.</p>

<p>A mother mallard duck keeps a close watch on her 11 ducklings as they stroll through the enclosed patio at the Whitefish Care and Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday. This is at least the second year this duck has used the patio area as a safe haven to lay her eggs. The ducks are a source of excitement for the residents who do a head count of the ducklings several times a day and often visit each others’ rooms for better views. </p>
