Famous dancers join locals for show

A local dance studio will perform with nationally known dancers and choreographers June 15.
Feat x Feet with Friends starts at 8 p.m. June 15 at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish. In addition to the local dancers, the show will feature performances by Derick K. Grant and Aaron Tolson.
Grant was an original company member and dance captain for “Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk” at the Joseph Papp Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival and on Broadway. He was also the tap choreographer for “So You Think You Can Dance” and creator of Imagine Tap in New York City.
Tolson is a national spokesman for SoDanca; writer for Dance Spirit magazine; and assistant choreographer, co-creator and producer of Imagine Tap! He teaches at the Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and Peridance in New York City.
