Seminar teaches photography basics
Bigfork Photographic Institute presents its second annual seminar, Digital Photographic Basics, at the Bigfork Art and Cultural Center June 25 through 27.
The seminar will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. all three nights, followed by a half-day field trip June 28 and a final review class from 6:30 to 9 p.m. July 1.
The seminar will be co-hosted by David Clough and Greg Thigpen from Bigfork.
Clough is an award-winning photographer who specializes in traditional black and white photography. Thigpen creates outstanding wildlife photographs working exclusively with digital media.
The seminar is focused primarily on digital photography but also includes topics on the core fundamentals of photography that apply to both digital and film. The class material is supported with an extensive slide presentation, practical exercises and an extensive Microsoft Word document detailing all of the topics covered in the class.
This seminar is limited to 15 attendees to enable hands-on demonstrations and personalized attention. Cost for the complete class is $85.
