No crime committed in broken nail incident

The Kalispell Police Department wasn’t able to make heads or tails of a disturbance between a drunk Lambert Court couple. The wife reported her husband fell down the stairs while they were arguing, while he claimed she pushed him. She also claimed to have broken a nail and bruised her arm, but that it happened when she fell. A responding officer reported neither was cooperative and was unable to determine what actually occurred other than that no crime had been committed. The caterwauling couple were separated for the evening.

A conspiratorial couple were banned from a U.S. 93 South store after they came in and accused an employee of stealing, then proceeded to dump out the employee’s backpack then went behind the counter and went through her purse.

A woman with possible alcohol poisoning was transported to the hospital after being found lying on the concrete behind an Airport Road bar.

A Crestview Road resident reported someone threw a pumpkin through a garage window at the home while the resident was out of town.

Youths were reported smashing pumpkins in the area of Fifth Avenue West.

 A Whitefish Police Department arrested a  mad man after he threatened to murder people at a Central Avenue bar.

An ex-employee returned to his former Central Avenue employer’s business and threatened to kill an employee. The ex-employee was already the subject of a restraining order banning him from the business.

A person wearing a hoodie, sunglasses, and a hospital mask was reported using an ATM on U.S. 93 South.

A drunk pedestrian was turned over to a taxi on Spokane Avenue.

An injured goose was reported on State Park Road.

The Columbia Falls Police Department responded to an apartment building after receiving a call from a 12-year-old boy who said his 19-year-old brother was trying to kick the door in. The older brother had been asked to leave the prior night due to being drunk and busting a window.

A man tried to get a woman’s attention by leaving a big bag of fish on her car.
