Children's theater stages murder mystery
Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre performs “Oh Horrors! It’s Murder!” starting this weekend.
The annual murder mystery performance runs Friday and Saturday and continues Nov. 22 through 24 at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts.
Audiences will be welcomed to the museum and a fascinating lecture on "Monsters, Murderers and Madmen" presented by Professor Carlton, a renowned Egyptologist. As he tells of his discovery of the Pharaoh Menkaura’s tomb, the slide presentation suddenly goes off, plunging the auditorium into total darkness. A moment later the lights come back on, but the professor is dead and the priceless jewel he was holding has vanished!
Was the murder committed by someone in the room, or was it the curse of Menkaura?
Join the fun as the audience helps interrogate the suspects and solve the crime.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The Nov. 24 matinee starts at 2 p.m.
Today, tickets to any performance are just $6. Stop by the box office in the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts between 2:30 and 5:30 p.m.
Regular ticket prices are $11 for adults, $9 for seniors, $8 for students and $7 for children under 10. Purchase tickets at the box office or at Electric Avenue Gifts in downtown Bigfork.
