Mystery checks arrive for girl

A confused Kickbusch Lane father in Coram contacted the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after his 17-year-old daughter received a pair of checks through FedEx with no documentation included. The checks, from a medical association and an air charter company, were both found to have been written from a closed account that had been hacked, and both companies filed police reports at their local police departments.

A man was taken straight to jail on a $75,000 felony warrant after being released from a Heritage Way mental health clinic.

A woman was transported by ambulance for withdrawal and delusional behavior after she was initially reported by a 10th Avenue West neighbor who said she and another neighbor were on drugs. The neighbor also said the woman was making advances toward his wife.

A man was reported laying down in front of a Seventh Avenue West hardware store. He was found to be extremely drunk, and was cleared by medical responders before being turned over to his father.

A group of three “skater” youths reported smoking marijuana on U.S. 93 South were actually smoking cigarettes.
