Kalispell painter leads Crits and Croissants

| October 2, 2013 5:00 PM

Kalispell painter Karen Leigh leads this month’s Crits and Croissants at the Hockaday Museum of Art.

The Crits and Croissants artists forum gives those who create art a chance to have their work reviewed by professionals. Artists 15 and older may bring one or more pieces of recently created artwork for critique. Coffee and croissants will be served.

Leigh is inspired primarily by the beauty and spirit of her native Montana as well as travels abroad. She is a signature member of the Montana Watercolor Society, received the Gold Medal in 2006 and the President's Award in 2008.

Crits and Croissants takes place from 10:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 12 in the Hockaday’s classroom. The museum is located at 302 Second Ave. E., Kalispell.

Cost is $5 for members, or $7 for nonmembers.
