Snowboard movie features Whitefish rider
A new snowboarding movie featuring a Whitefish athlete will be screened Oct. 10.
Absinthe Films’ “Dopamine” showcases world-class snowboarders through the Yukon, Kootenays, Valhallas, Monashees, Dolomites and Pyrenees. Riders featured in the film include Whitefish’s own Jason Robinson, as well as Victor De Le Rue, Bode Merrill, Brandon Cocard, Manuel Diaz, Blair Habenicht Wolfgang Nyvelt and many more.
“Dopamine” will be screened at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; the show starts at 8 p.m.
Riders from the film will be present. The event also features gear giveaways. The film is 43 minutes long.
Tickets are $10 each and are available at Stumptown Snowboards and at the door.
