Domenic Vincent Fiorentino Jr., 76

Domenic Vincent Fiorentino Jr. passed away at 76 years old on Sept. 26, 2013, at his residence in Kalispell. 

He was born on Dec. 21, 1936, in Trenton, N.J., to Italian parents of Sicilian descent. He attended Catholic school and high school in Trenton, graduating in 1954. 

At age 20, in 1956, he joined the United States Navy. After honorable discharge in 1962, he began working at General Motors, where he then worked for 23 years.

Domenic made Montana his home for the remainder of his years when he moved to Missoula in 1987, then to Kalispell in 2007. Domenic’s passions in life included listening to great music, such as the famous musicians he heard in New York as a child, and watching great movies.

Domenic was preceded in death by his father, Domenick; his mother, Mary Grace; and four siblings, Angelo, Gaetano (Guy Wayne), Joseph and Josephine “Dolly.” 

He is survived by two sisters, Carmela Vertuca of Debray, Fla., and Mary Grace Campbell of Kissimmee, Fla.; and his friends in Missoula and Kalispell, including Lynne Mickelson, and the Kalispell family of Monette, Kent, Camren and Ridgely Lembke who treated him as family and will dearly miss him.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell. A reception will follow the services.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. on Oct. 28 at St. Ann’s Church in Debray.
