Missing flock: Five flamingos stolen
A Montana 35 resident who put out 12 plastic flamingos to raise awareness about breast cancer reported someone stole five of them.
A theft was reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after someone stole an all-terrain vehicle and siphoned gas from about four or five vehicles at a Jellison Road property.
A group of 25 traveling turkeys was reported roaming around in the area of Tamarack Lane.
A solid waste district employee reported a problem with people urinating at the Columbia Falls green box site.
An officer separated a man and woman after she reported he was throwing her belongings out of a Columbia Falls home.
The Kalispell Police Department received a series of calls early Wednesday morning from residents who heard a series of 10 shots. Some thought it may have been gunfire, but an officer who heard the shots said they were too close together and were likely fireworks. Firework debris was later found in the area of 11th Street West.
Shortly after the fireworks calls, a Seventh Avenue West woman reported someone knocked on her window and shined a flashlight through her window. She was asked if it may have been fireworks, but told police she could tell it was a flashlight because she was one foot from the window at the time.
A motorist was reported for driving up a foot path at a U.S. 93 property and spinning brodies near several tennis courts.
A Fourth Avenue West man reported he found a note on his door from an unknown person and that “the language is strong.”
A man contacted the Whitefish Police Department about getting his truck back after his son used it to flee from police on Sunday. Police followed the son home, where he was arrested and the truck impounded.
The owner of a Central Avenue business said an ex-employee has stolen seven or eight of her sandwich boards in front of the business.
A Kalispell Avenue man said his neighbors keep yelling profanities at him, his friends, and his family.
A youth was reported for shooting off fireworks on Colorado Avenue.
A transient was advised to move along after sitting outside a Central Avenue business for some time.
