Prep football poll: Glacier up to No. 3, C-Falls still at No. 2

Glacier continues to roll on the football field and moves up to No. 3 in the Associated Press prep football poll this week.

The Wolfpack, fresh off a 38-19 win over Missoula Big Sky, moved up one spot in the poll to No. 3 in the rankings. Bozeman continued its reign at the top spot, this week as a unanimous No. 1 after its 65-9 drubbing of former-No. 2 Helena Capital. The Bruins fell two spots to No. 4, replaced in the second spot by crosstown rival Helena High, the only other undefeated team in the class. Butte held on to its spot at No. 5.

Columbia Falls continues to gain votes in the Class A poll, holding firm its spot at No. 3 this week. The Wildkats, who had a bye last week, continue to trail top-ranked Dillon and Billings Central. Laurel remains at No. 4 and Miles City at No. 5, this week tied for the last spot with Belgrade. Whitefish was the top team receiving votes, with two fifth place votes to its credit.

Bigfork held on to the No. 3 spot in Class B, continuing to trail Missoula Loyola and Baker, respectively. Forsyth leaped three spots to No. 4, backing up its undefeated record with a 51-6 win over Shepherd last week. Huntley Project remains at No. 5, with Glasgow, Boulder, Fairfield, Townsend and Whitehall rounding out the top 10.

Ennis remains at the top spot in Class C 8-Man and Geraldine-Highwood continues its run as the top-ranked team in 6-Man.
