Violent man arrested for assault
A woman calling Kalispell Police from a Sixth Avenue West North residence Sunday said her 22-year-old son hit her in the jaw and also assaulted his own wife. The woman said she has been trying to get her son to move out for three months. The son was arrested for partner-family member assault.
Two vehicles were reportedly hit with eggs on Sixth Avenue West North.
At about 10 p.m., there was a report of an intoxicated man ordering food at a drive-thru on U.S. 2 west. The man was repeatedly banging on the drive-thru window, and after leaving, he crashed at U.S. 2 west at the bypass. There was a chase involving Montana Highway Patrol that ended in the parking lot of a bar on U.S. 2 west, where the man was arrested.
There was a report Monday morning of mailboxes vandalized on Fifth Avenue East.
A woman calling from Seventh Street East said a wreath was stolen from her door overnight, but she later found it in a nearby alley.
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday about an intoxicated man refusing to leave a bar on U.S. 2 west of Columbia Falls.
There was a report of a man causing a disturbance at a facility on Hidden Meadow Lane in the Columbia Falls area. The man was attempting to get his wife to leave the facility, and he was threatening staff.
A vacant house on Airport Road was reportedly vandalized, not for the first time.
A woman calling from Shady Lane in Evergreen said that when she came home, she saw someone inside one of her vehicles.
There was a report of two men beating up another man behind a a restaurant on U.S. 2 south of Kalispell.
A man reportedly was kneeling in front of traffic outside a bar on Montana 35 in Evergreen, and he was nearly hit by the reporting party. The man was transported to a safer location.
Whitefish Police got a report Sunday regarding the theft of $200, a knife, jewelry and a tank of gas from a vehicle on Creekwood Drive.
A bicycle was stolen on Flathead Avenue.
There was a disturbance on East 13th Street involving a barefoot man attempting to prevent a woman from driving off. At one point, he got on the hood of the vehicle.

Columbia Falls Police responded to a report of an intoxicated pedestrian on Talbot Road Sunday. The man was warned about open container laws.
There was a report of a highly intoxicated man who claimed he was hallucinating from medication on Nucleus Avenue.
