Laurie Lorraine 'Loz' Baker, 50
Laurie Lorraine “Loz” Baker, 50, “went to heaven” on Oct. 13, 2013.
Laurie was born on July 7, 1963, to Del and Nancy Baker in Kalispell.
Laurie had a great passion for her son Brad and her grandsons. Brad was the greatest light in her life and he was known as her “little spook!”
She also had such an unconditional love for animals and would take anything in. She would share her love with them and she had so much to give. As a little girl, Laurie was Little Miss Rodeo Queen of the Tiny Tykes Rodeo. Her daddy Del was so proud of her and boy, she was her daddy’s little girl. ”They are now together reminiscing about those good ‘ol days in the big rodeo in the sky.”
Laurie was preceded in death by her father, Del Baker; Grandpa and Grandma Gibson; Grandpa Smokey and Eunice Baker; her uncles, Rick and Jim Baker; and stepfather, Maynard Bolster.
Laurie is survived by her son, Brad Dunkin of Kalispell; grandsons, Dawsen and Carter Dunkin of Kalispell; mother, Nancy Gibson Sharp of Moses Lake, Wash.; mother, Harriet Baker of Kalispell; brothers, Justin Baker, Jeff (Jessa) Baker, and Shawn (Suzanne) Baker, all of Kalispell; nephews, Joshua Baker of Sandpoint, Idaho, Matt Baker of Priest River, Idaho, Colt Baker of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Brady Baker of Kalispell; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, at the Creston Cemetery.
