Photographers, adventurers give talk at FVCC

Photographers, writers, publishers and adventurers Rick and Susie Graetz will give a free presentation on Yellowstone Country at Flathead Valley Community College Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The talk is hosted by the Continuing Education Center at FVCC.

The Graetzes will share the essence of Yellowstone Country through lecture and photos, exhibiting the splendor of its legendary mountains, rivers, forests, glaciers, geysers, volcanoes and wildlife.

Rick Graetz is a geography professor at the University of Montana, and Susie Graetz is the managing editor of the University of Montana Press and a visiting scholar with UM’s Central Asian Studies Center. The couple have authored 18 books on Montana and numerous titles on other areas of the United States and foreign countries as well as articles for numerous national publications and columns for the long-running syndicated newspaper column, “This is Montana.”

The lecture will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the large community meeting room inside the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC campus.
