Man wants girlfriend to return shirt

A Kings Loop man contacted the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report his ex-girlfriend broke into his house while he was at work and took some of her belongings as well as some of his. He said the woman, who is on parole, opened a window to unlock the front door. The woman’s parole officer was advised to make sure the woman knows she is banned from the property and has to return her ex-boyfriend’s shirt.

A traveling preacher drew some negative attention while preaching on Hungry Horse Boulevard, first when a man came over, tore up the preacher’s equipment and told him he would kill him if he turned the equipment back on, and second when another person complained about the volume at which the preacher was playing music.

An officer responded to Lawrence Park after receiving a report of a man sitting on a bench with a rifle in his hand. The officer reported the man was indeed holding a rifle. He cited and released the man at the scene for possession of alcohol, but was unable to arrest and incarcerate him on a misdemeanor warrant due to the jail being too full.

A report of a man wearing dark clothing and using a crowbar-like tool to break into mailboxes on Begg Park Drive turned out to be a man with a cane picking up his own mail.

An officer was unable to locate a man reported masturbating outside of a Heritage Way business.

A First Street West man reported being beaten and robbed Wednesday night by a man who punched him in the face repeatedly.

A sickened Sixth Avenue West woman called the Columbia Falls Police Department after receiving dirty and obscene phone calls from a private number. She told police she would call the phone company to block any anonymous or restricted calls.
