F. Myrtle Sands Vagle, 96

F. Myrtle Sands Vagle, 96, was born on Feb. 22, 1917, and passed away on Oct. 23, 2013.

Myrtle married Lawrence E.A. Sands March 29, 1940. They had Lawrence “Sonny” and Kristina “Kriss.” Lawrence E.A. died in 1962.

Lawrence “Sonny” married Janet Hoylman in 1962; they had Talis and Rodney.

Kristina married Lawrence Birky in 1962; they had Randy. Kristina died in 1994.

Great-grandchildren are Tayvia Doran, Levi Birky, Paige Birky, Zack Sand and Kasey Sands.

Myrtle was remarried on Dec. 31,1988, to Roy Vagle of Karlstad, Minn. She had made her home there since then. A funeral has taken place in Minnesota.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
