William Chester Stringfellow, 84

William Chester Stringfellow passed away July 25, 2013, in Kennewick, Wash., at the age of 84. 

He was born in Kalispell on Dec. 27, 1928. Bill lived a very rewarding life and was loved and befriended by many. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Greenland and Panama. He traveled the world as a heavy machinery master mechanic and worked on regional projects such as the Grand Coulee Dam and the Kingdome.

Bill worked at the Hanford nuclear reactor, building the Fast Flux Test Facility until his retirement. Residing in Kennewick, Bill loved working around his property and hunting, fishing and playing with his dogs.

He will be missed by all who had an opportunity to meet him. He was a great father, husband and friend. Bill is survived by his wife, Lee, and his three children, John, James and Deana.

Memorial services will be held at the Conrad Memorial Cemetery on Sept. 7 at 1 p.m. Friends and family are invited in remembrance of Bill’s remarkable life.
