Local art students to give Kalispell show

Works by students of three local artists will be on display in a special show Sept. 13.

Mark Ogle, Nicholas Oberling and Jennifer Li, all longtime artists and teachers, will have students of all ages with works on display at the show. Some artwork by the teachers also will be displayed, but Ogle stressed that the show is for the students.

“We want to get the word out about our students. It’s not about us,” Ogle said.

The show’s opening reception is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 13 at Glacier Art Academy, the school Oberling and Li opened recently in the KM Building. Beverages and light refreshments will be served.
