Volleyball: Pirates top T-Falls in 5 sets
POLSON — The Polson volleyball team fought back from a set down to beat Thompson Falls in five sets on Tuesday in a nonconference season opener.
The Pirates dropped the first set 25-21, before easily taking the next two sets 25-15, 25-24. Thompson Falls regrouped in the fourth set to win 25-14, but Polson was stronger in the fifth taking the match with a 15-11 decision.
Chloie Huerta led the Pirates with 19 kills while teammate Jaiden Toth had a team-high 26 digs and 36 assists.
The Pirates play at Frenchtown on Thursday.
