Store offers two jewelry-making classes

Powder Horn Trading Company offers two jewelry-making classes this month.

Nanci Williams teaches a beginner bead class at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Learn to make a bracelet and a pair of earrings with the skills taught in this class.

The class is a foundation-building session that will give novices the techniques they will need for future jewelry making. Plenty of one-on-one instruction will be offered.

The class costs $15.

 

Lynda Newell will teach students how to make a hex nut bracelet in a class Sept. 25. The session starts at 6:30 p.m.

The class involves making jewelry out of hex nuts found at the hardware store. Newell will demonstrate how to put the nuts together in a classy bracelet.

The class is suitable for beginners to intermediate level jewelry makers. The class costs $25, plus $5 for the kit.
