GREAT FALLS — Glacier volleyball squeaked out a three-set nonconference Class AA victory over Billings West on Thursday at Great Falls C.M. Russell High School.

The Wolfpack, led by eight kills each from seniors Cassi Hashley and Hannah Atlee, won close in all three sets, never ending more than three points up, 25-23, 25-22, 25-23.

Hashley also tied for the team lead with three blocks while Hannah Liss recorded six aces and 28 assists.

Katie Wiley led the Wolfpack with 15 of the team’s 47 digs.

“It was really close,” Glacier coach Christy Harkins said.

“West battled through a close match and wouldn’t let us get away with a few of our leads. It was a good battle.”

The Wolfpack will be playing in the Great Falls Invitational today and Saturday.
