Whitefish Police Department officers responded to a Central Avenue bar after getting a report of three men in their mid-20s starting fights inside before going into the alley behind the bar. They reportedly picked up the roped bars at the back and threw them into the crowd, although it was unclear if anyone was injured. The officers pursued the men on foot and made at least one arrest.

A man was reported riding a bicycle down Wisconsin Avenue with a rifle strapped to his back.

The police department received a complaint about a man preaching on the corner of East First Street using an amplifier. A later complaint concerning the same area came in from a person who was upset about “religious people” hanging their signs all over the street and stop signs.

A drunk man fell and hit his head on Central Avenue. His friends took him to the emergency room to make sure he was okay.

A group of six chickens was reported running loose on Colorado Avenue.

A trio of troublemakers were reported stealing an adult tricycle.

A Columbia Falls Police Department officer made an arrest after an extremely drunk man was reported in a Ninth Street West store. The man was reported smelling, acting, and walking like he was drunk. A later breath-alcohol test indicated the man’s blood-alcohol level was at 0.38, nearly five times the legal limit. A woman in the vehicle with him was given three citations.
