Class B volleyball: Eureka spills St. Ignatius; Florence checks Bigfork
ST. IGNATIUS — Eureka improved to 2-2 overall on the Class B volleyball season Saturday afternoon with a wild 28-26, 13-25, 25-18, 25-20 nonconference victory over St. Ignatius.
“It was a pretty scrappy match,” Eureka coach Charli Chapman said.
Eureka totaled 32 kills, led by Elliott Peterson’s 11.
Charity Parsons had seven of Eureka’s 21 aces.
Evynn Anderson finished with 13 of Eureka’s 22 digs.
Eureka plays at Stillwater Christian School on Tuesday.

FLORENCE — Florence held a commanding edge in four of five statistical areas and used that advantage to roll past Bigfork 25-14, 25-16, 25-14 in a Class B nonconference matchup.
Bigfork won the battle of blocks 4-0, otherwise it was all Florence — 33-21 in kills, 62-43 in digs, 31-18 in assists and 12-5 in aces.
Bigfork is back on the court Saturday hosting Thompson Falls for a District 7B match.
