Flathead Republican Women had their headquarters at the Himsl-Wohlwend car dealership in Kalispell for many years. This Nov. 5, 1950, photo shows club officers, from left, secretary-treasurer Caroline Walchi, president Nell MacDonald and vice president Sylvia Murphy prior to a meeting to discuss their campaign and election plan. Today, Murphy, age 97, is the oldest member of Flathead Republican Women.
