Glacier spikers 3rd at Electric City Invitational

GREAT FALLS — Glacier took third place at the Electric City Invitational volleyball tournament on Saturday.

The Wolfpack defeated Billings Skyview 25-13, 25-18 in the consolation final.

Billings Senior claimed the championship with a 25-20, 25-14 triumph over Bozeman.

Glacier stopped Helena High 25-15, 25-16 in opening-round play on the final day.

Billings Senior bested Glacier 25-12, 25-12 in the next round, but Glacier rebounded with a 25-11, 25-19 triumph over Great Falls to advance to the consolation final.

Flathead also advanced to the championship bracket, but was eliminated in two matches.

Billings Skyview beat the Bravettes 25-22, 25-17 and Great Falls High downed Flathead 25-23, 18-25, 25-21.
