Edward Weston Wells, 76
Edward Weston Wells passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Sept. 5, 1937, in Ronan, at the back of a dance hall during a dance, (now the White Elephant Second Hand Store).
He grew up in the Flathead and terrorized Lower Valley and Foys Lake Island.
He married Florence Kirkland on Aug. 1, 1957.
He served in the Army, and in his younger years he was a logger and retired from T-Bend Construction in 2010. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking and family get-togethers.
He is survived by his daughters, Leah and husband Carl Barker, and Laura and husband Ron Gardner; sons, Randy Wells and wife Cristi, Bob Wells and wife Sophia, and Terry Wells and wife Lisa; 11 grandchildren, Skip and Dusty Barker, Mindy Lockhart, Rory, Samantha, Chris, Cody and Kayla Wells, Cody Campbell, Melissa Davis, and Whitney and Logan Gardner; and 10 great-grandchildren, Renee, Dakota, Kale, Karah, Ian, T.J., Ethan and Cam Barker, Lilly Lockhart and Evauna Wells.
A celebration of his life will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Cornerstone Community Church. Interment will follow at Lone Pine Cemetery (Little Brown Church in Bigfork).
