Polson girls 1st, boys 2nd at golf tourney

HAMILTON — Polson’s Jaylin Kenney and Nicole Clairmont and Darby McNally of Frenchtown tied for medalist honors Saturday at the Hamilton Invitational golf tournament. All three girls shot 89.

Polson had five girls finish in the top 10. The Pirates won the team title with a 376 total. Frenchtown, 405, was second.

Anaconda edged Polson by four strokes to win the boys team title with a 323 score. Dalton Noyes of Polson and Caleb Stetzner of Anaconda both shot 72 to tie for top honors.

Polson had two golfers finish in the top 10.
