Senior center hosts line dancing

| September 25, 2013 6:00 PM

Western line-dance classes will be offered at the Bigfork Senior Center beginning Oct. 2.

The classes will continue every Wednesday for six weeks and will wrap up Nov. 6.

The hour-long classes will meet at 3 p.m. and will be at a beginner to slightly above-beginner level.

The class is open to adults of all ages, and drop-ins are welcome. Line dancing is done without partners and is a great way to exercise and have fun dancing to lively tunes.

Sandals, flip-flops, clogs or athletic-type shoes are not recommended, as they prohibit movement.

The class is free except for a $1 donation per person, per class, to the Bigfork Senior Center.

The senior center is located at 639 Commerce St., Bigfork. For more information, call instructor Barbara Hammons at 982-3064 or email her at hammons@centurytel.net.
