Volleyball roundup: Lake City spills Glacier
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Lake City knocked off second-ranked Glacier 22-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-20 in volleyball play Saturday afternoon.
It was the third match of the week for Glacier (10-2 overall).
No stats for Glacier were available.
Glacier is back on the court Thursday hosting Missoula Big Sky in Western AA play.

LIBBY — Frenchtown held the upper hand in kills, blocks, assists and digs in a 25-22, 21-25, 25-15, 25-23 Northwestern A victory over Frenchtown.
Morgan Ray had 11 kills, seven blocks and 20 digs, all team highs.
Frenchtown had 59 kills to Libby’s 39 and led in blocks 10-2.
Devon Gallagher had 11 kills for Libby.
Libby (2-3, 0-3) had the edge in aces, 16-12. Dayln Germany had seven for the Loggers.
“We battled pretty well,” Libby coach Cindy Ostrem-Johnston said.
“They have a tough offense. They kind of overpowered us at the net.”

“I was proud of my team for competing hard,” she said. “It was a long week with homecoming. We stepped up, served aggressive and tried to keep them out of their offense, but it wasn’t quite enough.”

Chloie Huerta led Polson in kills with 10 and blocks with two.
Jaiden Toth had team-bests in assists with 23 and aces with five.
