Woman hopes police can answer her prayers
Whitefish Police Department received a prayer request from a woman on Baker Avenue who said she had cancer.
A man on Geddes Avenue reported that a large amount of money had been taken from his bank account by his caretaker who allegedly admitted gambling with the money.
Someone on East Second Street requested that officers help “sort out” backed-up traffic. The caller was advised the construction company had flaggers for this purpose.
A woman on West Third Street reported that no one had called her back concerning traffic congestion due to construction. She complained that construction trucks were not obeying load limits.
A dog mysteriously appeared inside a man’s residence on Columbia Avenue while he was outside mowing the lawn. The man reported that he was concerned how the dog got into the house since he left his door closed.
Someone called to report children were skating after hours and had been doing that all week.
A report was made from Seventh Street West to Columbia Falls Police Department that a group of four male teenagers gathered on a playground “castle” were smoking cigarettes and “possibly other things.” The teenagers were instructed to go back to school.
Police had to use a Taser while responding to a verbal disturbance on Third Avenue West after a man called to report three people were outside arguing and screaming and a woman came to his door asking to call 9-11.
