A Marion man has pleaded not guilty to a pair of felony sexual assault-related charges.

Donald Johnson, 53, entered the pleas March 27 in Flathead District Court.

According to a court document, Johnson allegedly had sexual contact with a young boy and a younger girl in 2001.

If convicted, Johnson faces between four and 200 years or up to two life terms in the Montana State Prison and a fine of up to $100,000. In addition, due to the ages of the victims, he would not be eligible for parole for the first quarter of his sentence.

Johnson was released from custody after posting $25,000 bond.

His next hearing is set for May 7.
