Evans, Hashley, Epperly to play in Montana-Wyoming All-Star Basketball Series
Christian Evans of Bigfork and Cassi Hashley and Evan Epperly of Glacier have been selected to compete with the Montana squad in the 39th annual Montana-Wyoming All-Star Basketball Series this summer.
The Montana roster was announced Thursday in Billings at the Midland Roundtable.
Evans, a 6-foot-7 senior center, helped Bigfork claim its first Class B state boys basketball title last month in Bozeman. Evans tallied 17 points, had seven rebounds and blocked three shots in the Vikings’ 71-62 victory over Columbus in the championship game.
Bigfork came into the contest ranked No. 1 and finished the season with a 26-0 record.
Hashley, a 6-1 senior center, averaged 15.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game heading to the Class AA state tournament. She was a four-year starter for the Wolfpack and named all-state twice.
She has committed to play basketball next season at Carroll College.
Epperly, a 5-9 senior guard, averaged 17.6 points per game and 4.6 assists heading to the Class AA state tournament. He was named to the all-state team for a second-straight season last month.
He will be attending the University of Montana on a football scholarship.

Russell; Carson Dummer and Kyle Harrington, Helena Capital; and Jared Schultz, Stevensville; (girls) Katie Fertterer, Belt; Justyn Juhl, Billings Central; Jace Henderson, Billings Senior; Mika Robinson, Billings West; Jill Barta, Fairfield; Vanessa Stavish, Frenchtown; Michaela Dowdy, Helena Capital; Olivia Roberts and Maddie Keast, Missoula Sentinel.
The first game will be played June 13 in Sheridan, Wyo. Rocky Mountain College hosts the second game on June 14. The girls will play both nights at 6 followed by the boys at 8.
Steve Keller, head coach at Montana Western, will coach the boys. Brian Henderson, the former Rocky Mountain College women’s coach, will direct the girls.
