Large man's shortcomings on display
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Tuesday about a large naked man standing and waving his arms on the rails of the Holt Stage Bridge over the Flathead River. The man was located and taken to his home.
A Thompson Lane resident said she received a check for $1,980 from a so-called Big River Electric Co. The caller said she made calls and determined that the check was part of a scam.
A woman calling from U.S. 93 west of Whitefish reported that her boyfriend threatened to “break her face” and he “slightly head-butted” her.
A North Hill Road resident asked for assistance in getting her mother and aunt removed from a property.
A man calling from Conrad Drive said his wife was physically assaulting him and trashing their house.
There was a report of a man and woman hitting each other in a vehicle on West Reserve Drive.
A woman calling from East Reserve reported that her friend was beat up by a man.
A man calling from Hungry Horse Boulevard said that another man was threatening to stab him and other people in the neighborhood. The suspect left the area and could not be immediately located.
Early Wednesday, at about 5 a.m., there was a report of several people in dark clothing that were in the middle of Montana 35 in Evergreen. A responding deputy ended up arresting a man, apparently for drunk driving.
Kalispell Police responded to a report Tuesday from a man who said a convicted felon held a gun to his head and threatened him in the vicinity of First Avenue West. The suspect was not immediately located.
A woman reported there was an intoxicated man who was yelling and banging his head on a picnic table in Woodland Park. The man was given a ride home.
