'Rolling disturbance' in Columbia Falls
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday about a “rolling disturbance” in which a man and woman were fighting and the woman was attempting to jump out of a moving vehicle on U.S. 2 in the Columbia Falls area.
A person calling from East Oregon Street reported there is an abandoned vehicle with all of its windows smashed and tires flattened. It turned out that one of the vehicle’s registered owners is deceased.
A man calling from Harlem, Mont., reported that his ex-wife has his $300 phone and won’t give it back.
A man made a trespass complaint, saying his neighbor has been shooting on the reporting party’s West Valley Drive property without permission.
Landscaping tools and hunting gear were reported stolen from a vehicle on Garden Drive.

Kalispell Police got a report Saturday night about a vehicle being driven through a fence and crashing into a house on Sixth Avenue East North. A woman was subsequently arrested for drunk driving.
After a man entered a restaurant on South Main openly carrying a firearm, the manager requested that he return the gun to his vehicle. The man became agitated and left without paying for his food.
A woman calling from Eighth Avenue West reported that a former male friend has been stalking her, repeatedly driving by her house, showing up at her work and sending her lots of letters. The man was contacted and advised to cease those activities.
