Teenagers in trouble at two different locations

 The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a trio of calls about a pair of troubled teens on Thursday.

Deputies responded twice to a Valley View Drive home about a 15-year-old girl who first refused to go to school and was behaving unruly, throwing things and yelling. Her mother said it was not normal behavior for her daughter, who had been having trouble with students at school.

She initially calmed down, but a deputy again responded two and a half hours later when another disturbance was reported involving the girl yelling at and poking her mother. They were counseled to stay away from one another.

A 14-year-old boy was reported acting out of control at a Panoramic Drive home, yelling at his mother before breaking her car door handle, then taking her keys and throwing them after she locked herself in the car. The boy then left, later trying to call his mother to apologize. The parents did not want to pursue charges, but were told his probation officer would be told what happened. The boy later agreed to come home.

A Conrad Drive man reported his computer had been hacked and his bank account may have been accessed. The report came after an Internet technician came to fix his connection and he subsequently discovered his Internet had been compromised.

A forgotten 4-year-old was picked up by his grandmother after being left alone in a store for more than half an hour. Another customer in the store recognized the boy and called the grandmother.

A man who realized someone on the Internet was scamming him gave the person the Sheriff’s Office address as the location the person should send their fraudulent check.

A very drunk man was arrested for partner or family member assault after pushing his daughter, yelling at her, smashing her car and pulling wires out of it at a Collier Lane home.

A group of gatecrashing goats was reported loose on the side of Montana 206 by a passer-by concerned they would get onto the highway.

A man was advised to stay out of the road after being found standing in the middle of U.S. 2 East looking for his phone.

A 35-year-old woman was caught on video shoplifting from a U.S. 2 East store in Hungry Horse.

A miffed man in a hoodie was first reported to the Kalispell Police Department for yelling and crying in a U.S. 93 South hotel and later for screaming in front of a U.S. 93 South gas station that he was going to kill someone. He was reported a third time walking back and forth on Third Avenue West screaming “(expletive) the law!”

A vehicle was towed to a secure police facility after officers responded to a report of suspicious, possibly drug-related activity on Seventh Avenue East.

A man was arrested for breaking into a Woodland Avenue business after being located at a nearby bar.

A North Belmar Drive woman reported her roommate’s son trashed her house while high on drugs.

A man was arrested after attacking his uncle at a Second Avenue East property.

A man was apprehended while trying to steal from a Hutton Ranch Road store.

A person claimed to have seen a wolf run in front of him on Stillwater Road.

Employees at an East Seventh Street school contacted the Whitefish Police Department for help after blocking a physically and verbally out-of-control 8-year-old student in a phone room, although they feared he was tearing up that room as well. The boy was turned over to his parents.

Police were called to an emergency room to help deal with a disorderly patient who was threatening staff that he would “take them all on.”

A person was cited after being pulled over on a scooter on U.S. 93 South and found not to have a motorcycle endorsement.

A thief was caught on video stealing battery cores from a U.S. 93 South business.

A heavyset woman dressed head to toe in pink was reported to the Columbia Falls Police Department after walking out of a Nucleus Avenue store without paying for two cases of beer.

An 18-year-old woman was reported for threatening a person with a bat on Ninth Street West over a civil matter regarding the person moving out.

Repair work at the Olney BNSF overpass at mile marker 144.7 of U.S. 93 will resume Monday and could last all day with additional work on Tuesday. A detour will be put in place while work proceeds.
